Objectives and competences

This course offers people with intellectual disabilities practical training to facilitate access to the ordinary company. Contents such as basic computer science, the organization and management of the point of sale, regulations and security in the store and basic English will be worked on to serve customers. The training is based on the supported work model, promoting personal autonomy and access to a dignified work with the necessary support.

To train people with intellectual disabilities to acquire the personal and professional skills necessary to work in fashion stores, with the appropriate supports to promote their work success.

The course is aimed at people with intellectual disabilities interested in training to access the ordinary world of work, especially in the fashion trade sector. It is designed for people with interest and motivation to acquire work skills. It is aimed at those who can benefit from the supported work model to develop a work with the necessary conditions and supports.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
