Objectives and competences

Cyber threats are a current and rising reality that affects the security of States, organizations, companies and individuals, so there is a growing demand for specialized professionals, both in the public and private sector, in their knowledge, prevention and reaction. Precisely, this master has as a fundamental objective to train practical operators in cybersecurity and digital environments through an active, applied and blended teaching method in agreement with hybrid teaching, all through specialists of recognized prestige in the subjects addressed.

Objectives and competences

Objectives

- To know cyber risks and threats in the current framework of hybrid conflicts that impact national security from a criminological, legal and political-criminal perspective.
- To train highly specialized operators in cybersecurity with the aim of generating safe digital preventive environments, as well as reactive layers in the digital sphere.
- To master digital intelligence or cyberintelligence and the OSINT to train in the search, selection, acquisition and evaluation of information as well as to process and analyze it to obtain useful and applicable knowledge in various areas.
- To train in technology and practice in forensic informatics
- Detection and analysis of vulnerabilities or what is translated as RedTeam
- Design response mechanisms through the creation of the SOC (Security Operation Center) or security operations center.

Recommended applicant profile

Students and graduates of Private Investigation, Criminology or Law, members of the forces and security forces and corporate security and consultancy staff.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
