This course offers specialized and applied training in psycho-oncological and psychosocial interventions with a specific and brief psychotherapeutic approach based on real cases. Through an integrative, evidence-based model, you will learn to address the emotional and psychosocial aspects of cancer patients and their families, promoting more humanized and person-centered care.

Objectives
To promote the psychological approach to daily oncological clinical practice: To train health professionals in the application of effective interventions adapted to the emotional needs of cancer patients and their families.
Apply brief intervention techniques in real clinical scenarios: To provide professionals with the opportunity to put into practice the knowledge acquired through the analysis of real clinical cases and the resolution of problems in the healthcare environment.
Promoting the humanization of cancer care: To promote a person-centred approach that values dignity, empathy and effective communication, contributing to closer, more respectful and personalised care.

Recommended applicant profile
Psychology professionals with experience in the oncology field.Also aimed at:
Oncology professionals who deal with psychological and psychosocial aspects (oncology nursing, health social work, oncology, oncohematology, etc.).
PIR/MIR/FIR, undergraduate and postgraduate students with an interest in psycho-oncological aspects.
It is also open to non-qualified people who, due to their professional or personal career, are in a position to follow the course.
Access requirements and conditions
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.Pre-enrolment
