Objectives and competences
This course is part of the teaching project "Deep Tech Brain: Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Neuroimaging, and Neuromodulation". The course introduces the physical and physiological bases of non-invasive neuromodulation techniques, such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation. Students will learn how to design and apply neuromodulation protocols for research and clinical application. Its integration with neuroimaging, virtual reality and artificial intelligence will also be explored to optimize therapeutic interventions.

- To know the applications in neuroscience and neuropsychiatry, including clinical protocols and their current regulation.
- Critically analyse scientific results and understand the influence of individual differences on the response to stimulation.
