Objectives and competences
This course is part of the teaching project "Deep Tech Brain: Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Neuroimaging, and Neuromodulation". The course covers basic concepts of artificial intelligence (AI) and applications in neuroscience and health. It includes theory on machine learning, neural networks and ethics in AI, with programming practices in Python. Integration with virtual reality, neuroimaging and neuromodulation is being worked on, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration between technology and health.

Objectives
- Analyse the nature and type of data in neuroscience, learn about standardisation and integration techniques, and design AI algorithms for its processing.
- Critically assess the results of AI algorithms, their applications in neuroscience and the ethical implications of their use.
