Objectives and competences

Aucouturier psychomotor practice, through bodily and relational mediation, mobilizes the sensoriality, tonicity, motor skills, emotional and imaginary experience of people, an individual involvement integrated into a training group. By experimenting in one's own skin, analysing praxis and studying psychobiosocial development and psychomotor concepts, it is possible to understand the evolutions of childhood in a global way and accompany people from a broad and recognising perspective. Designed for professionals who work with children up to 7 years of age and are involved in their processes of maturation in educational, healthcare, social, community and artistic contexts.

Objectives and competences

Objectives

In terms of education and prevention, Aucouturier psychomotor practice is designed to develop the psychological maturity of children through movement. Psychomotor practice is a support method proposed for groups of children that enables each individual to develop in harmony, in a safe, respectful, rich and varied environment.

The aim of the training course is to gain the professional skills required to work with children in the school and other educational environments.

The process is divided into three areas: personal training, theoretical training and educational training.

- Experienced professionals who meet children's needs in their processes of development and maturing.

Access requirements: professional involvement in the fields of early childhood, childhood and youth.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
