Objectives and competences
Clubfoot is a congenital deformity whose treatment of choice is currently the method developed by Dr. Ignasi Ponsetí.
This treatment is based on an in-depth knowledge of the biology and biomechanics of clubfoot and consists of a specific manipulation and plaster technique, designed to correct the deformity and prevent recurrence. In addition, it allows possible recurrences to be detected and treated if they occur.
To achieve optimal results, it is essential to know every detail of the method and apply the technique with precision and rigor.
