Objectives

- To acquire transversal skills with the aim of developing the social and emotional skills necessary to maintain satisfactory interactions and also specific skills, that is, the knowledge and skills required for the effective exercise of the work activity.
- Work within the framework of the UB Chair? Adecco Foundation for the Labour Integration of People with Disabilities, directed by Dr. Marina Romeo (www.ub.edu/catedrainlab).

Applicant profile and access requirements

Recommended applicant profile

Young people with intellectual disabilities registered in the National Youth Guarantee System.

Access requirements:
- Have an intellectual disability of 33% or above, which is officially recognised by the relevant body in the respective autonomous community.
- Be aged at least 18 or have turned 18 during 2023 and be under 30 years old.
- Be a beneficiary of the national youth guarantee system before the start of the course and have had documentation for at least fifteen days before the course start date.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.

ObservationsFace-to-face teaching is from Monday to Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Thursday from 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m., to facilitate the interaction of students with all members of the university community on the Campus in an out-of-class space (during the placement period, classes will also be held on Friday).
