Objectives and competences
This course consists of one year of face-to-face theoretical and practical training, distributed in part of two academic years, at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Barcelona and offers specialized training in the field of early care. The course is aimed at both recent graduates who want to acquire specialized knowledge in early care and professionals who wish to update their knowledge.

Objectives
- To gain the skills needed to detect risks in childhood development through theoretical and practical training.
- To learn to carry out preventive actions.
- To learn to detect requirements for intervention.
- To learn to assess early childhood development and family settings.
- To be able to implement intervention programmes for the purpose of optimizing childhood development.

| Observations | Durant l'any 2026, dimecres i divendres, de 17:00 a 21:00 (els mesos de juliol, agost i setembre no són lectius), mentre que els horaris de l'any 2027 s'han de convenir amb els centres de pràctiques, dins de l'horari laboral dels professionals dels centres (predominen els horaris de matí). El període de pràctiques pot variar segons les hores setmanals d'assistència al centre. Un calendari orientatiu podria ser de febrer a juny del 2027, amb una assistència d'entre 12 i 15 hores setmanals (240 hores). La presentació dels treballs de final de màster està prevista per a la primera quinzena de juliol del 2027, o, excepcionalment, la primera setmana de setembre del 2027.
