Objectives and competences
This course aims to train students so that they are able to prepare clinical histories in neuropediatrics and to make a diagnostic orientation of the main syndromes in neuropediatrics, in addition to knowing the bases of child development and the exploratory techniques carried out in the service: EEG, video-EEG, nocturnal polysomnography, EEG in ICU and newborn units, EMG, PEV, PEATC, ERG, PESS, intraoperative monitoring, botulinum toxin, baclofen pump, cranial ultrasound through fontanelle, MRI, cranial CT scan, neurocognitive evaluation, follow-up of the newborn at risk and epilepsy surgery.
