Objectives and competences

The IoT allows the connection of objects that facilitate daily life without direct user interaction. The Master in IoT offers a complete training covering from the technological foundations to its industrial exploitation. Program designed for professionals who aspire to lead the implementation of innovative technological solutions within the framework of the IoT. The aim is to train experts in team management and project leadership, beyond simple technology, equipping them with the necessary skills to transform industrial sectors using these new technologies.

Objectives

- To design embedded systems for the IoT (Internet of Things) with objectives focused on low power consumption, connectivity and autonomous operation.
- To know the current solutions of embedded architectures for the Internet of Things and to be able to have a technical impact on their innovation and improvement.
- Know the technological possibilities and limitations of sensors and actuators of physical environmental quantities, with the ability to design new technologies.
- Know the operating systems to manage Internet of Things systems.
- Understand and be able to design connectivity in integrated systems for the Internet of Things with the various wireless technological proposals.
- Know the different communication protocols for Internet of Things devices.
- Knowing how to design a completely embedded system for IOT knowing how to decide between the different options according to criteria based on the design objectives.
- Knowing how to design control systems for robots and actuators.
- Knowing how to design systems with machine learning models.
- Know the possibilities of computing through the cloud.
- To learn to manage the data obtained with cyber security.
- Know the applications of the Internet of Things in various industrial sectors and be able to design new applications or sectors and have an impact on them.
