Objectives and competences
The main objective of this Master's Degree is to develop a critical perspective on the real and effective functioning of the penal system in contemporary societies. It also addresses some of the most important current problems of the so-called "criminal question", such as the criminality of States and Markets, the protection of the environment and the studies of contemporary forms of structural violence. The profile of the students is open to graduates in social and legal sciences, operators of the penal system and researchers of current criminology.

Graduates from Law, Psychology, Sociology, Philosophy, Political and Administration Sciences, Anthropology, Communication Sciences, Criminology, Economics, History, Forensic Sciences, Medicine, etc.In particular, participation in the course for penal system operators in the broad sense of the expression will be valued, as well as candidates involved in national and international institutions and organizations for the protection of human rights.
Access requirements and conditions
