Objectives and competences

It is a program focused on the study and contextualization of lighting projects that generate multisectoral scenarios and events with an artistic and social approach from a transversal perspective. It proposes to examine and develop proposals in public space and live shows that bring together both the professional field and civic collaboration. It explores social construction and the value of community as spaces open to lighting phenomena that add value to citizens from the world of art and its public interconnections. Art as a politics of reflection, plurality and the manifestation of the participatory subject.

Objectives and competences

Objectives

- To promote democratization and participation in the performing arts, exploring the role of music and performance as tools to involve society in collective and meaningful artistic processes.
- To promote innovative multidisciplinary and cultural management methodologies, integrating art, community and society to develop new practices in the fine arts.
- To explore collective artistic practices from a feminist perspective, promoting self-knowledge and critical reflection through artistic creation.
- Reflect on memory, spirituality and transcendence in art, using light as a symbolic and transformative element in the search for human meaning.

Applicant profile and access requirements

Recommended applicant profile

Programme aimed at graduates in Fine Arts, but also in disciplines such as Design, Marketing, Architecture and similar.
It is also open to people with a Vocational Training degree in the Image and Sound family, such as Senior Technicians in Lighting, Image Capture and Processing.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
