Objectives and competences
The longest-running master's degree in Europe (1986-87...) It trains specialists in drug addiction and other addictions, both in terms of treatment and prevention and harm reduction. Interdisciplinary, with international students, treats all drugs and other addictions. It guarantees the balance between theory and practice in specialized subsidized centres, individualized tutorials and personal contact with dozens of professors and tutors who permanently update their teaching. The presence of students can be physical or remotely ("streaming"), with prior authorization from the Management.

- To acquire the specialized knowledge required to work in the field of drug addiction, particularly in the areas of diagnosis, treatment, and the planning and implementation of prevention and harm reduction programmes.

Recommended applicant profile
Professionals with a university degree in health sciences or social intervention, including doctors, psychologists, social workers, nurses, social educators, pharmacists and teachers.- Other graduates, subject to evaluation of specific merits.
- A limited number of applicants without university qualifications may be accepted. In this case, they will receive a university extension certificate.
Access requirements and conditions
