Objectives and competences

The study of the human microbiota is an ever-evolving field of research that has important implications for public health. For this reason, the development of strategies aimed at modifying the composition and function of the microbiota is key. Among other aspects, it is worth highlighting the potential of diet and specific supplements such as probiotics and prebiotics.
For all these reasons, from the Institute for Lifelong Learning of the University of Barcelona, we are launching the new postgraduate programme in Human Microbiota.

This postgraduate course forms part of the master's degree or postgraduate degree
