Objectives and competences
Objectives
- To acquire the theoretical and diagnostic skills to address situations in which emotional development may be affected and lead to pathological issues.
- To know especially the alterations of the personality and the conduct.
- To identify the main theoretical and technical models of psychoanalytic psychotherapy for children, adolescents and their families.
- To discuss therapeutic strategies through consideration of clinical cases.
- To gain a general introduction to clinical care and technical resources for clinical practice.
- To learn how the healthcare network works for child and adolescent mental health.
- To learn to identify an object of study and research in a clinical setting.

Graduates of degrees in psychology or medicine who would like to acquire a more detailed understanding of psychoanalytic theory and its application to work with newborns, infants, children, adolescents, and their parents.Access requirements: curriculum vitae and personal interview.
