Objectives and competences
This course provides specialized training for gemmologists.
The objective of this course is for students to acquire the knowledge they need to grade diamonds, both rough crystals and cut material, and to be able to identify all types of diamond substitutes (moissanite, zirconite, YAG, etc.). In the theoretical aspect, comprehensive knowledge of the diamond is developed from all points of view and the use of recent advanced techniques.
