Objectives and competences

This program is a standardized course of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, aimed at health professionals (doctors, nurses) and aimed at learning the fundamental principles, both theoretical and practical, for the initial care of a patient critical during the first 24 hours. The course is designed to operate in settings such as emergency rooms, hospital wards or in pre-hospital emergency situations, until the patient can be transferred to an intensive care unit.
