Objectives and competences
This postgraduate course is designed for Latin American graduates in medicine or nursing who want to refine their skills in the care of acute critically ill patients. It covers theoretical knowledge based on the continuum of care of a critically ill patient, from pre-hospital emergencies to hospital care in an intensive care unit involving different disciplines. It culminates in a Specialization Diploma awarded by the University of Barcelona. No previous work experience required.
