Objectives and competences
This online postgraduate diploma course of 30 ECT credits allows students to acquire the theoretical knowledge they need to able to care for critically ill patients in any scenario: intensive care unit, emergency or pre-hospital emergencies. This multidisciplinary course is intended for medical professionals (medicine and nursing). It deals in depth with all aspects related to the pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, monitoring, actions, therapy and follow-up in the various pathologies that can affect a critically ill patient. No previous work experience required.

Graduates in Nursing, Medicine and other universities from any field of health sciences, with an interest in acquiring skills in dealing with the critically ill, both in the ICU and in the emergency and pre-hospital emergencies.
