Objectives and competences

This course offers an introduction to twentieth-century Hungarian literature through the study of excerpts from contemporary poets and authors and a general analysis of the Hungarian literary scene over the period. Students will also review excerpts of contemporary cinema, which are used to contextualize different periods in twentieth-century Hungarian history.
