Objectives and competences

The activities derived from the Construction Project Manager have the fundamental purpose of harmoniously establishing the guidelines for the technical and administrative control of each of the phases that make up a Construction Project. The coordination of human resources, the control of inputs such as equipment, materials and financial resources, within the framework of a work schedule established from a plan previously approved by the project team and the promoting client, for to finally materialize the work in the stipulated time and without major financial deviations.

Objectives

To integrate training in the most advanced concepts of project management and new trends relating to the processing of information and monitoring of resources using BIM methodology during the phases of programming and controlling projects, planning and management of a project conceived to obtain LEED certification, and joint application of the Lean Construction philosophy and IPD.

The course is intended for Ibero-American professionals in the sectors of architecture, civil engineering and infrastructure who would like to pursue a career as a project manager or update their knowledge and skills to meet the requirements of the international construction sector.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
