Objectives and competences

This postgraduate course offers complete theoretical and practical training in the writing process, its origin, formation and foundation, the scientific bases on which laws in this area are based, the meaning of the morphological distribution of writing and the voluntary or involuntary modifications that can appear in handwriting or a signature. This professional-focus postgraduate course prepares students to serve as experts with the Department of Justice and for careers related to expertise in calligraphy and graphology and linguistic forensics.

Recommended applicant profile

- Graduates in psychology, law and criminology, criminology and criminal policy or private investigation.
- Private security managers and directors, heads of human resources and recruitment departments, public officers in the justice administration and police officers.
- Other applicants interested in training as an expert calligrapher, graphologist or document examiner.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
