Objectives and competences

This title of concession contract manager expert (contract manager) aims to respond to the need to train professionals in public administrations and concessionary companies in the knowledge, skills and integrity necessary for the correct performance of their functions in the management of concession contracts and especially in the execution phase, seeking both efficiency in accordance with the contract and in the provision of public services as well as the economic balance of the contracts.

Objectives

- Offer legal and financial knowledge of public contracts in general and concessional contracts in particular from the new strategic approach to public procurement provided for in the community and state contract regulations.

- Promote an improvement in the training and capacity of public procurement managers that allows them to reach the best solutions

- Contract managers at private concessionary companies and contractors of public contracts.
- Professionals interested in specializing in this area.

A university degree is not required, but it will be an advantage, especially for graduates in law, public management and administration, political science and administration, business administration and management, geography and civil engineering.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
