Objectives and competences
This master's degree provides training in the planning, management and evaluation of the technical and economic viability of facilities, provides the knowledge needed to promote clean, renewable and endogenous energies and improves energy efficiency by overcoming everyday technical, legal and administrative obstacles encountered by professionals in the field. Based on the situation in the sector, the master's degree offers practical learning supported by teachers who are from the energy industry and engineering firms and consultancies on renewable energies and energy services.

Objectives
- To design and evaluate energy projects from a technical and economic point of view.
- To be able to study criteria used for solving problems in professional areas of renewable energy.
- To learn the fundamental aspects for the implementation and management of renewable energy installations.
- To be able to economically evaluate energy projects.
- To acquire the knowledge and data to raise awareness of the importance of efficient energy use.

Recommended applicant profile
Those who wish to develop professionally in the technical field or in management of renewable energy sources, the current energy market or efficiency and sustainability, with the following backgrounds:- Technical fields: engineering (industrial, chemical, energy, building, mechanical, agronomic, geological, environmental, materials, etc.) and architecture.
- Scientific fields: graduates in environmental sciences, physics, chemistry, geology, biology or other scientific and technical disciplines.
- Other professional profiles of people who work in energy sector companies.
Access requirements and conditions
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.Pre-enrolment
