Objectives

- To train for a basic specialisation in new professional skills that prevent Islam radicalization, Jihadist terrorism and global security within various areas and public policies.
- Acquire training in the prevention of radicalization and violent extremism for graduates in political sciences, sociology, security, law, criminology, public management and administration, social work, social education, mediation, journalism, audiovisual communication, psychology, anthropology, humanities, primary school teaching, secondary school teaching, political advisors, public managers, immigration officials, LGTBI specialists, anti-rumour specialists, heads of security, managers of sports or leisure entities, and other professionals in the area of prevention of radicalization.

Applicant profile and access requirements

Recommended applicant profile

- Degree or diploma holders.
- Students without a degree are also admitted, especially commandos and police officers, and opt for an Expert Certificate from the University of Barcelona.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
