Objectives and competences

This master's degree prepares students to become part of the music sector and to be able to develop and lead professional projects in the industry from the perspective of some of the most its most renowned professionals. Students can acquire a specialized, comprehensive vision of the various elements involved in the world of music, from creating music to bringing it to the public, whether through record production or a musical event, and learn about the technology that supports the production, communication, management and monetization of music and its impact.

Objectives and competences

Objectives

- Acquire the skills needed to be involved in, develop and lead projects in the music industry.
To gain a specialized and comprehensive understanding of the different factors that intervene in musical activity, from the creation to the end audience, whether reached by means of record production or a musical event.
- To identify the technologies for production, communication, management, and monetization of musical activity and its impact.
- To know how to draw up a business plan for the sector

Applicant profile and access requirements

Recommended applicant profile

- University graduates in specialisations of branches of the arts and humanities, and social and legal sciences who want to focus their careers on the music sector.
- Professionals in the music or culture sector who have at least two years of experience, hold an official vocational training qualification and want to consolidate their skills and take on more responsibility in this field.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
