Objectives and competences
The master's degree aims to develop a practical and experimental mindset towards exploring the concepts, procedures and techniques in the discipline of sound art based on the interests of every student and his or her own personal project. Through the intersection of languages of different origins, the course will examine artistic concepts based on the experimental art of recent decades and hybrid conceptual frameworks stemming from science and music. The purpose of these studies is to transform into a well-defined research area a series of creative practices and theoretical analyses of sound events, which until now have been presented in a scattered way in the form of marginal productions of other areas of knowledge.
