Objectives and competences

In this course you will acquire basic knowledge of manual (ink, pencil, colours, watercolour) and digital techniques of scientific and nature illustration and learn to produce illustrations from the first sketch in the field notebook to the final illustration. This course, worth 3 credits, is intended for anyone interested in the scientific and naturalistic illustration of birds, amphibians, reptiles and fish. It consists of 15 hours of theory and practice (divided into 6 sessions of 21 hours) and 00 hours of practical work in the field (3 outings during the weekend).
