Objectives and competences
This master's degree has been designed based on the concept of the smart city. It aims to offer a multidisciplinary approach that takes into account emerging technological tools in different urban contexts. Graduates can become smart city managers and department leaders who bring coherence to all the initiatives and projects of a city using a smart and sustainable approach.

Objectives
- To deepen knowledge of the various sectors that will be affected by the introduction of these models and specific examples of each of them, and to learn about ecosystems to follow their evolution.
To understand business models, finance frameworks and new emerging economies.
- To learn about the existence of new professional and business opportunities and the perspectives of growth in the short-, mid- and long-term.

- Professionals in the areas of architecture, civil engineering and industrial engineering.- Professionals who implement new applications in the area of sustainable cities (from the areas of telecommunications engineering and computer engineering).
- Members of the public administration who work in urbanism, management and economics departments, and other professionals and future entrepreneurs.
Access requirements: although these are typical profiles, it is a good idea to have a broad background to participate. Clearly, a wide range of skills are required to manage a city and, in the future, a smart city.
