The need to train skilled and effective education professionals has become apparent in the large number of private training programmes offered by different associations and organizations sensitive to the issue of addressing individual difference and learning disorders; this problem partially explains the 20% rate of school failure in the Spanish population (Pisa Report, 2009).
- Identify personality traits in children and adolescents and learn how they manifest in the classroom.
- To identify the biological, psychological and educational factors that influence the development of school learning difficulties and neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Distinguish clinically-relevant traits from non-relevant traits in learning disorders.
- To identify causes for alarm in the context of neurodevelopmental disorders and learning difficulties in the school environment, to ensure its early detection and a personalized educational intervention in the classroom.
- Identify and learn to apply the diagnostic criteria for school learning difficulties and neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Study real cases based on numerous, recognized activities carried out by various professionals who form part of the teaching team.
