Objectives and competences

The analysis of criminal behaviour has become increasingly relevant, which can be seen in recent scientific advances in the discipline. These improvements are evident in the development of criminal profiling as a tool in forensic and police work. It facilitates the understanding of the phenomenon of criminality from academic scientific research to applications in different fields, such as in operational processes of criminal investigation in law enforcement and in decision-making in legal contexts. In this context, this course provides basic theoretical knowledge and practical know-how in the field.
