Objectives and competences

This diploma programme focuses on the most important aspects of event management. With subjects like Operations Management: Planning and Management, Logistics and Control, students gain valuable insight into the operational dimension of the sector. They also learn about the strategical dimension through the subjects Marketing Management and Economic-Financial Management. We believe in learning by doing, so that you can apply your knowledge in challenges linked to real cases of the industry. In addition, the programme allows students to develop the professional, personal and interpersonal skills they need to take on leadership roles in the sector.

Objectives and competences


- Acquire the professional training to work in the MICE industry, developing the knowledge required to ensure success in event management.
- Provide students with both a general and a specific understanding of the MICE business, and to furnish them with the skills to manage companies in this sector.
- Acquire the knowledge and training to assume team management positions in the organization of events.
- Learn management techniques for different fields associated with the MICE industry that contribute to the implementation of suitable management models for different organizations.

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
