Objectives and competences

This postgraduate programme is a socio-educational family intervention course based on the systemic model, family therapy, strategic brief therapy, socio-educational action contributed by social pedagogy, education and social work, and practice reflective. In this training, accredited by the Spanish Federation of Family Therapy Associations, participants learn to work with families in social and educational contexts from a systemic perspective through solid theoretical foundations and innovative methodologies.

Objectives and competences

Objectives

- Train as highly qualified family therapy experts to integrate theoretical and practical knowledge in the application of socio-educational family and relational interventions, with a holistic approach that considers equity in dealing with families in diverse contexts
- Develop a deep and critical understanding of systemic family therapy theories and models, emphasizing the practical application and critical evaluation of therapeutic interventions to address a wide range of family challenges in contemporary contexts.

The Postgraduate Course in Socio-Educational Family Intervention is aimed at graduates in Social Education, Social Work, Pedagogy, Psychology, Psychopedagogy, Sociology or Anthropology, Teaching of Early Childhood, Primary or Secondary Education. And practitioners of other social, healthcare or legal professions which may be involved in areas of family work.
