Objectives and competences
This training provides tools to optimize the use of antibiotics in clinical practice and to implement or be part of en PROA Team in a healthcare institution, in order to improve the clinical outcome of patients with infections, minimize its toxicity and adverse effects, guarantee cost-efficient treatments and limit the increasing resistance to antibiotics.
In addition, this course responds to current health policies regarding optimizing the use of antibiotics, includes the contributions of leading experts with extensive healthcare and teaching experience, and is subsidizable for companies.

- To understand how to use all the tools and resources required to implement a PROA in a hospital.
- Learn to correctly apply an ASP taking into account everything it implies and also to coordinate the various roles involved.

Doctors, particularly infectious disease specialists, pharmacists, microbiologists, biochemists, nurses and other health professionals who prescribe or handle antibiotics in their clinical practice.Access requirements and conditions
