Objectives and competences

The postgraduate programme enables students to offer advanced psychological assistance (IPA) and effective in crisis contexts or in scenarios of high emotional intensity, as well as establish multidisciplinary working relationships with other emergency operators (medical examiners, security forces and media). The practical methodology of this postgraduate programme will be complemented by master-classes taught by both local and foreign experts, practical workshops, simulations based on real cases (role-playing) and visits to different institutions related to this field.

To become trained and qualified to provide immediate intervention for people affected by critical incidents of a micro-local or far-reaching nature in order to prevent their overall health (physical, psychological and social) from being compromised by these events.
