Objectives and competences
Laser treatments require a specialized approach. In-depth knowledge of laser therapies, clinical judgement and technical expertise enable precise, effective, and safe outcomes. Aimed exclusively at doctors, this master's degree programme equips students with the latest knowledge on the use of lasers and other energy systems both for medical and surgical treatments and for the therapeutic treatment of aesthetic, cosmetic or dermatological diseases. This blended course includes practical sessions that allow participants to experience these techniques first hand in treatment contexts.

- To acquire training in the main applications of laser for medical and surgical specialities.
- To acquire an up-to-date understanding of the latest technologies in laser procedures.
- To examine the theoretical and practical bases of photo-medicine, phototherapy and light sources and laser for dermatology, aesthetic and cosmetic purposes.
- To acquire an understanding of the organizational aspects of a laser clinic and the medical and legal aspects of laser use.
- To promote good professional practice in the field of laser technology and its medical applications.
