Objectives and competences

The purpose of the Transport and Mobility Regulation Course is to fill a gap in training on transport and mobility law, not only for new university graduates who may find career opportunities in these sectors, but also for professionals who are already working in this field and who are interested in learning about the scope of the changes that legislation like that related to the decarbonization of means of transport and the focus on sustainability entails. The course is designed for a wide audience. It is ideal not only for transport professionals, but also for people interested in specializing in these areas for the first time.

Objectives

- To gain an understanding of legislation governing transport and mobility.
- To acquire knowledge in the legal matters from a multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary approach in line with the objectives of the 2030 Agenda and the European Union's Green Pact.
- To enable transport and mobility professionals to gain updated information about developments in their field.
- To gain the possibility of becoming involved in extracurricular professional placements.

Recommended applicant profile

The course is aimed at professionals in the field of transport and mobility and people interested in an initial specialization in these areas. A university degree is not required, but it will be an advantage, especially for graduates in law, public management and administration, political science and administration, business administration and management, geography and civil engineering.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
