Objectives and competences

This master's degree in Sports Technology arises as a result of the work carried out in the last decade in the field of research and the dissemination of technology applied to physical activity and sport. Its purpose is to professionalise: on one hand it aims to analyse the specificity of sports products and services (the performance of these products and their application to sports performance and practice), and on the other, to spread a series of tools to obtain , manage and analyse sports tests, with the added objective designing devices and products.

Objectives

The fundamental objective is to train participants in the conception, tools and methods necessary for the application of technology in sport, and therefore in the products and services offered by the sports industry.

Recommended applicant profile

- Students with a university degree, bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Initially aimed at professionals with university degrees who come from related studies corresponding to the pre-EHEA degree or bachelor's degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences (CAFyD), professionals with degrees or graduates in Health Sciences (Medicine, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Physiology ), Physics, Mathematics and engineers from the different branches applicable to the purposes of this Master's (Mechanics, Electricity, Electronics, Computer Science, Industrial Design, Materials, etc.).

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
