Objectives and competences
This course consists of two years of theoretical and practical training at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Barcelona, offering specialized training in the area of early care. It is aimed at recent graduates who wish to gain specialized knowledge in early care, and at professionals who want to update their knowledge.

Objectives
- To gain the skills needed to detect risks in childhood development through theoretical and practical training.
- To learn to carry out preventive actions.
- To learn to detect requirements for intervention.
- To learn to assess early childhood development and family settings.
- To be able to implement intervention programmes for the purpose of optimizing childhood development.

| Observations: | Durant l'any 2025, dimecres i divendres, de 17:00 a 21:00 (els mesos de juliol, agost i setembre no són lectius), mentre que els horaris de l'any 2026 s'hauran de convenir amb els centres de pràctiques, dins de l'horari laboral dels professionals dels centres (predominen els horaris de matí). El període de pràctiques pot variar segons les hores setmanals d'assistència al centre. Un calendari orientatiu podria ser de febrer a juny del 2026, amb una assistència d'entre 12 i 15 hores setmanals (240 hores). La presentació dels treballs de final de màster està prevista per a la primera quinzena de juliol de 2026, o, excepcionalment, la primera setmana de setembre del 2026.
