The master's degree in Communication and Intercultural Mediation in the Hispanic World is aimed at international students that want to acquire It therefore focuses on two main concepts: inter-cultural communication, understood from a global digital context; and Hispanism, understood as a cultural and economic phenomenon encompassing nearly 600 million people around the world.

International students (Asia, North America, Europe, etc.) outside of the Spanish-speaking countries, and with previous training on the field of communication, the cultural industry, international mediation and relations, business, languages, etc. that want to acquire specific skills on project management and promotion and on cultural, economic, business, political relations with global actors in the Hispanic world (European and American).This master is taught in English (80%) and Spanish (20%), which is the language of subjects related to linguistic and communication skills. Non-anglophone students must provide accreditation of a B2 English level and an A2 Spanish level in order to be admitted. Certificates such as IELTS, Cambridge, TOEFL, etc. are accepted. Regarding Spanish level certification, it must be the DELE certificate of Instituto Cervantes.
If students don't have any Spanish accreditation, but have Spanish skills that aren't academically recognized, they can be admitted as long as they agree to enrol on and take a bridging course of a minimum of 40 hours in Spanish for international students of the University of Barcelona before the beginning of the teaching period of the master's degree.
Access requirements and conditions
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.Pre-enrolment
