Objectives and competences
This course is aimed at participants with prior knowledge of the classical Egyptian language. The aim of the course is to consolidate previous knowledge and acquire advanced knowledge of Egyptian grammar and provide the student with the methodology and tools necessary to continue independently with the study of the language.
The sessions will be based on the progressive presentation of grammatical content and the translation and commentary of texts. It is also intended to include a small introduction to hieratic writing, which allows direct access to texts written in this cursive variant.

Participants with prior knowledge.It is recommended to have passed the equivalent of 6 credits of introductory courses or to have an advanced knowledge of the hieroglyphic writing system and sufficient knowledge of initial grammatical aspects.
Access requirements and conditions
