Objectives and competences

This master's degree, organized jointly with the Autonomous University of Barcelona, has been offered for over 35 years and provides training based on environmental psychology by means of an interdisciplinary and systemic approach. These studies have been designed to train professionals capable of integrating both a technical perspective and a psychosocial perspective to manage the human aspects related to environmental and sustainability issues at all scales and in different contexts, from the city and ways of life to the management of organizations.

Objectives

- To acquire a specialist understanding of the environment in preparation for professional practice, particularly in areas related to individual and collective behaviour.
- To learn to use the techniques and tools to analyse, assess, intervene and manage environmental issues in both natural habitats and in businesses and institutions, and to be able to implement them.

Recommended applicant profile

- University graduates with a professional or academic interest in the environment, sustainability or land planning, or those who wish to work in these areas.
- Holders of degrees in any discipline; mainly in social science (psychology, sociology, anthropology, geography) pedagogues, philosophers, lawyers, economists, political scientists, biologists, environmental scientists, chemists, geologists, architects and engineers.
