This master's degree establishes the foundations of a vital new paradigm for clinical neurology.
While the classic disciplinary approach focuses primarily on clinical symptoms, in the new model we integrate different levels of complexity to reflect the complex network across which the nervous system operates.
Neurological manifestations are interlinked with genetic, molecular and biochemical markers, cellular pathways and brain circuits. We will use practical examples, clinical cases and algorithms to improve the students' understanding of each topic.

- Learn the biomarkers and treatments that are characteristic of neurometabolic and neurodegenerative diseases in relation to molecular mechanisms

This master's degree is aimed at neurologists (pediatric or adult) and doctors dedicated to inborn errors of metabolism. It is also aimed at professionals in any area of biomedicine.
