Objectives and competences
This postgraduate programme is a socio-educational family intervention course based on the systemic model, family therapy, strategic brief therapy, socio-educational action contributed by social pedagogy, education and social work, and practice reflective. In this training, accredited by the Spanish Federation of Family Therapy Associations, participants learn to work with families in social and educational contexts from a systemic perspective through solid theoretical foundations and innovative methodologies.

Objectives
-To identify and define the family problems encountered by social educators.
- To acquire practical skills to work with the patients' families.
-To design work procedures that involve the user's or plaintiff's family.
- To examine the relational dynamics in families that could be assisted by services in which social educators work.
- To analyse emotions in professional practice and the impact of the educator, taking into account family situations and their effect on the intervention.
- To understand the family as a continuously changing system that is associated with other systems and sociocultural contexts that require constant adaptation.
