Objectives and competences

The postgraduate course in the Music Industry provides a comprehensive overview of the various elements involved in music activity, from creation to the audience, whether through the strategic creation of an artist's development, a command of social media and online business, the production of a music event, hiring and legal aspects, or record production. It also covers the acquisition of generic competences such as project management, digital marketing and teamwork.

Objectives

- To gain the skills required to join the sector and develop projects in it.
To gain a global and comprehensive understanding of the different factors that intervene in musical activity, from the creation of the music to the end audience, whether reached by means of record production or a musical event.

Recommended applicant profile

- University graduates in specialisations of branches of the arts and humanities, and social and legal sciences who want to focus their careers on the music sector.

- Professionals in the music or culture sector who have at least two years of experience, hold an official vocational training qualification and want to consolidate their skills and take on more responsibility in this field.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
