Objectives and competences
This postgraduate course is designed for Latin American graduates in medicine or nursing who want to refine their skills in the care of acute critically ill patients. It covers theoretical knowledge based on the continuum of care of a critically ill patient, from pre-hospital emergencies to hospital care in an intensive care unit involving different disciplines. It culminates in a Specialization Diploma awarded by the University of Barcelona.

Graduates in medicine or nursing. No previous experience in the care of critically ill patients and in emergency situations is required.Access requirements and conditions
