In the 21st century, many companies have experienced increased growth due to the development of their operations and logistics practices, making supply chain management a key differentiating factor. This master's degree aims to make graduates stand out as professionals in this crucial business area. Throughout the programme, students will learn to define a logistics strategy taking into account the environment, from which they will be able to develop the areas that make it up and manage them in an innovative and sustainable way.

Objectives and competences

Objectives

- To define a logistic strategy bearing in mind the economic and business context so as to make Supply Chain Management a differential element to contribute to the company's success.
- To plan and apply actions in the functional areas of supply chain management, supply, stock management, storage design and management, production planning and programming, physical distribution, transportation and inverse logistics.
- To acquire the sills needed to achieve smart, sustainable purchasing. Purchasing management as a revenue source aligned with the business strategy.
- To design and define a warehouse and become familiar with the best applicable technological innovations.
- To gain the ability to select, implement and use warehouse management software.
- To use lean manufacturing tools and apply them to improve the efficiency of the company.
- To carry out the management of this area with technological innovation and sustainability criteria in mind.
- To develop personal competences and managerial skills applicable to supply chain management.

- Professionals in logistics and operations and fields related to the supply chain, such as: supply or purchases, stock management, storage design and management, production planning and programming, physical distribution, and transportation.
- Professionals of other areas of the company, who wish to develop a career in operational management or related areas.
- Graduates wishing to develop their professional careers in order to gain positions of responsibility in supply chain management.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
