Objectives and competences

The master's degree has a wide range of lecturers from different disciplines who have extensive experience in the prevention and treatment of substance addictions and in the reinsertion of drug addicts. Likewise, it offers wide coverage, easy accessibility and a high academic level, able to satisfy the growing demand in recent years from various Spanish regions and Latin American countries.

Objectives and competences

Objectives

- Acquire the capacity to work on prevention and approaching drug addictions.
- Acquire in-depth and multidisciplinary training for an integral understanding of the phenomenon of drug consumption and addiction.
- To work as de specialized professional in the treatment, reinsertion and prevention of drug addictions.
- To learn the most common care models, devices and resources for intervening in drug dependences.
- To gain basic standard training, with further development of specific subjects depending on the profession and interests of each student.

Recommended applicant profile

- Holders of bachelor's degrees, pre-EHEA degrees or pre-EHEA diplomas.
- In exceptional circumstances, professionals without a university qualification may be admitted.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
