Objectives and competences


- Be able to prevent and early detect possible cases of social pathology or problems affecting children and teenagers, and to be able to intervene, through therapy or a multidisciplinary approach to the case, with previous advice and orientation to families and caregivers.

Recommended applicant profile

Clinical health professionals with an interest in the social problems and pathologies currently affecting children and adolescents: pediatricians and residents doctors, family and community doctors, nurses, health social workers and clinical psychologists.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
